Miller Milling Earns IAOM 2010 Safety Awards

Two Miller Milling Company facilities - Fresno, CA and Winchester, VA - were recipients of the IAOM Safety Award for no lost time accidents in 2010.  The awards were presented in May of 2011 at the 115th International Association of Operative Millers (IAOM) Conference & Expo held in San Antonio, Texas.  This marks the sixth time in seven years that the Fresno plant has received this recognition and the fifth time in seven years for the Virginia plant.  Through September 2011, Fresno has worked 2,119 days and Winchester 1,800 days without any lost time accidents.  Safety awards are based on a strict formula involving total hours worked vs. lost time accidents.
